User Complaints Procedure Opto Markets LLC
The words and expressions in this document that begin with a capital letter have the meanings set out in Schedule 1 of our Opto Markets LLC Technology Services Terms of Business.
1. Introduction
Opto Markets LLC (“Opto”, “us” or “we”) is committed to providing the highest standard of service to the users (“you”, “customer” or “users”) of the Opto App. We acknowledge that there may be instances where you are not satisfied with the services received either from us or from Alpaca Securities LLC (“Alpaca”). This policy outlines the procedure for handling your complaints.
2. Objectives
Through effective handling of complaints, Opto aims to: o Ensure complaints pertaining to the Technology Services or your Opto Account are dealt with promptly by us; o Facilitate the transmission of (i) your complaints pertaining to your Alpaca Trading Account or to any Alpaca services to Alpaca and of (ii) Alpaca’s response back to you; o Maintain a positive relationship with users; o Identify and rectify any recurring issues; and o Enhance the quality of Opto’s services.
3. Procedure
Users can contact Opto either in the support section of the Opto App or via email at support@optothemes.com.
Users are encouraged to provide as much detail as possible regarding their complaint, including a copy of any relevant or supporting documentation. All complaints will be acknowledged within a reasonable timeframe. The acknowledgment will include: o A confirmation that the complaint has been received; o An overview of the complaints process; o An estimated timeframe (if possible) for reply.
4. Technology Services Complaints
Opto is a Technology Services provider and provider of the Opto App. We will respond to any complaints from you that directly concern your Opto Account or arise from the Technology Services provided to you on the Opto App. If you are dissatisfied with our response, you may request that your complaint be escalated to a senior manager for further review.
5. Trading Account and Brokerage Complaints
Brokerage and related services are offered by Alpaca. If your complaint relates to your Alpaca Trading Account or any of the services provided by Alpaca, we will forward your complaint to Alpaca . Please note that Opto has no authority to decide or resolve complaints that directly concern your Alpaca Trading Account, Alpaca or any of the services you receive from them on Alpaca’s behalf. If you are dissatisfied with Alpaca’s response to your complaint, you may have other recourses which Alpaca will outline in their response to you.
6. Amendments to the Procedure
Opto reserves the right to amend this User Complaint Procedure at any time without notice and in its sole discretion.
